~* 5 STARS! *~

“This is an outstanding piece of writing … I was totally and utterly invested in these characters and this story – I sat up until just after 4am before I grudgingly put it down to get some sleep. The primary characters are deeply flawed but suit one another – the relationship between Dixon and Jaye was believable and I loved every minute of it.” – Kazza K, On Top Down Under Book Reviews

Tons of love & thanks to them for taking a chance and reviewing the book. <3

Song of the Lonesome Cowboy Release Date

Song of the Lonesome Cowboy is slated for a February release! Edits are completed. The cover art is in the works. I have to say, I’ve worked harder on this novel than any other I’ve done. Capturing Tucker’s unique blend of sweetness and darkness, hinting at everything he can’t bring himself to see while telling the story solely from his point of view… it’s been one of my greatest challenges. But, because of that, I’m even more proud of the finished product and am overwhelmed with excitement to share it with you.

Blurb: Tucker Reynolds is a humble singer/songwriter both blessed and burdened by his success in the country music industry. Stalked by a predator from his past and struggling with guilt over his secret lust for his childhood best friend and guitarist, Magnusson ‘Mags’ Palmer, Tucker’s carefully crafted lies are his main means of self-defense, but they slowly begin to unravel. Kinky sex with prostitutes hastens a downward spiral that he searches to escape from. At the end of a successful tour, before heading home to Nashville, Tucker seeks solitude in order to come to terms with the guilt over things he has done to which he has never confessed. Only Tucker’s devoted, less-assuming band mate, Jess Grayville, suspects the truth about the nightmare Tucker is privately battling. Jess attempts to protect Tucker from those who would do him harm, even when the person putting him in the most danger isn’t reckless Mags, but Tucker, himself. Realizing that the best way out of the dark of his past and into the light of forgiveness is by finally admitting to the truth, Tucker strives to listen to his heart and write a song that he knows could save him. 3 Paperback Giveaways for Rainbow Awards Finalists

RainbowAwards2014_Finalists_Trio

My Brother’s Lover, Forgive Us, and Jack L. Pyke’s novel, Antidote, are all Finalists in this year’s Rainbow Awards! To celebrate, Forbidden Fiction is holding giveaways of all 3 through Goodreads. Enter at the links below for your chance to win paperbacks of each:

My Brother’s Lover | Antidote | Forgive Us

The giveaways’ closing dates coincide with the release dates for my new Dark, Contemporary, BDSM MM Romance, Arctic Absolution (December 16), and Jack L. Pyke’s Sci-Fi, BDSM MM Romance, Broken Ink (December 9).

Arctic Absolution: In the frozen expanses of remote Alaska, Dixon Rowe is a good man and a good cop who keeps finding himself in bed with the enemy. After he picks up a young ex-con named Jaye Larson for stealing food, Dixon gets seduced by the possibility of helping someone truly in need. Though he tells himself he’s assisting young Jaye out of the goodness of his heart, not because of how sexy Jaye is under all of the tattoos and defiance, the temptations of sin entangle them as their hostile environment threatens. Both of their pasts are filled with malicious ghosts that haunt every step, and while Jaye’s demons are less tangible that Dixon’s, they are all powerful enough to put both of their lives in danger. (M/M)

Broken Ink: Carrying a tattoo on your skin no longer just comes with a risk of infection. Get the composition right, you have the latest mind-control drug on the market. It’s the sex-traders’ dream, or worst nightmare, depending on the concentrated dose of the ink—and just who’s wearing it.

For Kiyen, the ink means he’s able to strip raw the minds of the best and worst of society. He’s one of MI7’s top killers and never more driven to select and take down a target. For Falen, the ink has ensured he’s spent his early years as a willing sex slave and low-grade empath. Hiding out in a small town and trying to bury the needs running through his body, Fal’s hoping to stay under the radar of MI7 and their specialist killers. But the ink itself has a mind of its own, wanting to ignite the natural dynamics driving a Dom and sub, so when Kiyen is forced into Fal’s small world, prejudice battles a pure need to touch. Only problem is: Kiyen’s on the run, and in a world where thought can be the worst crime of all, Fal’s in for a fight for his sanity to find out just what it is that’s making a young killer run for his life.
